About PRIMEX
PRIMEX is a leading Philippines-registered full-service international management consulting firm. Since its establishment on 7 August 1989, the Company has built an enviable reputation with international financing institutions (IFIs), bilateral organizations, as well as government agencies in the Philippines and overseas, based on its consistently outstanding performance in the planning, design, management, and evaluation of development projects.
PRIMEX received its ISO 9001 certification in August 2010 and has been re-certified periodically. Agriculture and Natural Resources
PRIMEX has designed and formulated foreign-assisted and nationally funded agriculture and natural resources projects, including the conduct of pre-feasibility and feasibility-level analyses of micro, small, and medium agribusiness-oriented initiatives for rural communities in the Philippines and in other countries in the region (Cambodia, Indonesia, Mongolia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Viet Nam).
Environment and Climate Change
PRIMEX has extensive experience supporting environmental management and climate change initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region. The Company has deployed environmental specialists, climate resilience experts, social and gender safeguards specialists, and technical analysts to conduct assessments, prepare environmental and climate action plans, and support the implementation of adaptation and mitigation measures.
Environmental and Social Safeguards
PRIMEX has strengthened its expertise in Environmental and Social Safeguards through extensive work with multilateral organizations and government agencies. The Company has supported the preparation and implementation of environmental and social assessments, safeguards planning documents, and compliance monitoring. Its teams have worked on biodiversity conservation, social impact assessments, resettlement and indigenous peoples planning, gender integration, and safeguards capacity-building to ensure projects meet international standards and protect both the environment and affected communities.
Coastal and Marine Resource Management
PRIMEX has expanded its environmental expertise to include coastal and marine resource management. The Company has worked with multilateral organizations and government agencies on coastal assessments, marine ecosystem protection, and the planning and implementation of resource management and biodiversity conservation measures. PRIMEX has also supported vulnerability assessments, climate-resilient coastal planning, and community-based initiatives to protect fisheries, shorelines, and marine habitats.
Disaster Risk Deduction and Management
PRIMEX has expanded its environmental sphere of expertise to include climate change. It has worked with multilateral organizations and government agencies in the conduct of environmental assessment and in the planning and implementation of environmental management, biodiversity conservation measures, conduct of vulnerability assessment studies, and climate change adaptation strategies, among others.
Health, Education, Nutrition,
and Social Protection
PRIMEX provides strategic advice and support to government agencies in the delivery of better health and education to target beneficiaries through improving access to, and quality of, facilities and services; designing and establishing management systems; and capacity development among others.
Transport
PRIMEX has participated in the planning, detailed design, and construction supervision of projects involving land, sea, and air transport in the Philippines and other countries in the Asia-Pacific region. In these projects, PRIMEX fielded various engineers, economists and finance specialists, procurement and contract management specialists, and environmental and social safeguards specialists, and gender specialists to conduct feasibility studies, prepare detailed designs, and supervise the construction of transport projects, mostly financed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and some through public-private partnerships (PPPs).
Urban and Infrastructure Development
PRIMEX has extensive experience in the preparation of master plans, detailed designs and supervision of construction of various infrastructure, water systems, waste management mechanisms, and vertical structures essential in supporting efficient public service delivery.
