Posted in April 2011 A half-day Inception Workshop to discuss the SMEC-PRIMEX Inception Report was held at the DBP Training Room on 25 March 2011 as the culminating activity of the inception phase of TA 7257: Public-Private Partnership (PPP) in Health. The workshop had 47 participants from ADB, DBP, and other Philippine Government agencies including the Department of Health (DOH), Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PHIC or PhilHealth), Department of Finance (DOF), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), National Economic Development Authority (NEDA); and the Consultant Team from SMEC-PRIMEX. The Inception Workshop provided a venue to further refine the TA approach, methodology, and work plan and validated the contents of the Consultant’s inception report. At the workshop closing, ADB gave special thanks to the PRIMEX President and CEO for her effective leadership of the consultant team. A tripartite meeting followed after lunch to formalize agreements reached during the Inception Workshop and to discuss immediate next steps to be taken by the TA Team and their DBP counterparts.
