PRIMEX Chairman Dr. Jerome F. Sison has been engaged by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) from June 1 to 30 to assist in preparing the Technical Assistance (TA) paper for the ADB-funded RSC-C91456 (NEP): Preparing the Crop Diversification and Commercialization Project for Nepal.

The investment project that is to be designed under the PPTA will aim to reduce poverty among rural communities in up to 21 districts of the Midwestern and Far Western development regions of Nepal.

Dr. Sison participated in a two-week TA fact-finding mission in Nepal for field reconnaissance and national and local-level consultatations with concerned stakeholders and assisted the Mission Leader, Ms Snimer Sahni, in developing the TA paper for approval by ADB management. (Arvin Yana /PRIMEX)
