Posted on October 31 2008 Dr. Jerome F. Sison, PRIMEX Chairman, joined an ADB loan fact-finding mission led by Mr. Mahfuz Ahmed, Senior Economist of the Southeast Asia Regional Department (SERD), in refining the design of the proposed Quality and Safety Enhancement of Agriculture Products in Viet Nam. The Mission was in the field for close to one month in September 2008 for meetings with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), visits to the Project area for consultations with local-level stakeholders, and discussions with the PPTA consultant team. The mission culminated with a wrap-up meeting with MARD and other government agencies and the subsequent signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) by MARD, the project executing agency.
