Posted on 30 April 2008 PRIMEX Chairman, Dr. Jerome F. Sison, has been leading a team of consultants fielded by Sogreah Consultants (France), through their China office, to design an investment project that will result in better management of the water resources in Qingdao, Shandong Province. The project preparation technical assistance study is expected to result in an ADB loan for the implementation of the Qingdao Water Resources Management Project, which, when approved and implemented, will provide flood control and protection for Jiaozhou City and protect the important wetlands, thus improving the ecological environment and conserving global wetland biodiversity. The TA commenced in June 2007 and is anticipated for completion by June 2008. |
