PRIMEX celebrates today its 19th year with a mass to be celebrated by Fr. Noel Magtaas OSJ and an office warming to be sponsored by Mr. Gerardo C. Ablaza, President of Globe Telecom.

Ms. Elvira C. Ablaza, President and CEO of PRIMEX, together with key officials and staff share this special occasion with friends, consultants, and partners in a dinner to be held at the Richmonde Hotel.  Milestone services of the following staff will be recognized and honored: serving for 10 years are Mr. Nilzon O. Sanita, Messenger and Mr. Leo. R. Pura, Senior Manager for Technical Services and Business Development and for 15 years is Ms. Ma. Teresa A. Pol,   Technical Services Assistant.

In Retrospect
Way back in the 80’s, years before the inception of PRIMEX, Dr. Gordon Munro, a fisheries economist and Ms. Elvira Ablaza had the great opportunity to meet and work together through the introduction of Mr. Joey Leviste.  Dr. Munro, having an eye for recognizing great talent in project management, a talent that is so rare, and has nothing to do with gender, race, or creed, he quickly saw this talent in Ms. Ablaza.  He recounts,  “when you find talent, you seize upon it … and with my first dealings with Ms. Ablaza, her success at PRIMEX comes as no surprise to me whatsoever.”

When Elvira was thinking of setting up a new company, Dr. Munro made a prediction – “if she sets up her new company, her company will thrive and the other company will wither away.  PRIMEX has gone on from strength to strength.”
