The Project will hold a Concluding
Workshop on 2 April 2008 with partners from the ministries of health
of Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines convening at the Astoria
Plaza, Ortigas, Pasig. The Concluding Workshop will provide an opportunity
for the participants to present progress in their area, two years
after the start of their implementation in their respective countries.
They will also be given the chance to discuss what they learned
from the workshops, what and how has RETA 6305 contributed towards
the strengthening of their Epidemiological Surveillance and Response
(ESR) systems, and what remains to be done in the coming years in
the fight against communicable disease. The workshop is expected
to produce substantial recommendations in continuing ESR in the
three countries. (Click
