Ms. Therese Adele Yaptenco-Loyloy is a freelance writer and the author of a collection of short fiction appearing in local journals such as: Intersect, Women’s Journal, Philippines Free Press, Younghearts English Pocketbook, Philippine Weekly Graphic, and Woman’s Home Companion.

Ms. Loyloy worked as a graphic designer and comics illustrator for a local comic magazine in her hometown, Cagayan de Oro. She illustrated more than 10 issues for the Visayan Komiks before it was defunct for lack of funds. In 2003, she joined PRIMEX as Technical Assistant and within one year, was promoted to Head Executive Assistant (HEA). As HEA, who assisted the President and CEO, who also was then elected as President to the Confederation of Filipino Consulting Firms (COFILCO), the umbrella organization of all Filipino consulting organizations recognized and officially certified to address the need for consultants for government infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects in the Philippines, she was assigned to serve as COFILCO’s one-woman Secretariat, almost single-handedly running COFILCO operations, including all the paperwork. In May 2004, she was promoted to Manager for Technical Services, solely responsible for the supervision of preparation, and packaging of technical reports and proposals in coordination with the concerned executive officers. She acted as documentor when necessary, and noted down minutes of workshops/seminars/ conference/training under the following assignments:  

Ms. Loyloy graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Literature from Silliman University in Dumaguete City.
