PRIMEX to prepare PCR of Uzbekistan women’s health project

PRIMEX’s Practice Leader for Health, Dr. Jacques Jeugmans, has been engaged by ADB to prepare the Project Completion Report (PCR) of the ADB-funded Woman and Child Health Development Project in Uzbekistan.

The PCR will document the experiences of the Government of Uzbekistan, the executing agency, and ADB in implementing the project, and use the lessons to improve the performance of ongoing and future ADB-financed projects. The PCR will also be used as a measure of ADB’s development effectiveness and as an input to country strategy formulation. The document is scheduled for circulation to the ADB Board of Directors by 30 September 2012.

Dr. Jeugmans served with ADB for 20 years and retired as the highest ranking health specialist in 2010. While in ADB, he was involved in health sector governance, private-public partnerships (PPPs) in health, as well as in intersector and cross-sector interventions to improve health.
